Baby, it's hot out there!

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

Sasha and I love our sunny room, but the mom bean says it is too hot out there sometimes.  So look what she went and did.

She put up new cloths on the windows to keep the sun out! Let me tell you, we wasn't furry happy with this.  Too bad Sheldon isn't around, he'd climb these things and put some extra holes in them.  

But you know, it's not all bad.  She does open some of these some times so we do get some sun shine.  One of the cloths is in front of my cat tree and she always opens that one in the morning so I can watch for the burds in the trees.

And even though there is no sun puddles to sleep in, my new bed is furry comfy!

I guess I'll forgive her.

The great outdoors!

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today!  

We've had glorious weather this past week (at least mom bean says it has been).  All I know is I got to go outside! 

This was before the mom bean cut the grass so there was lots of stuff to chew on.  She never lets me out on my own, and she doesn't let me stay long but I sure love getting out to roll around and smell the different smells.  But the darn mom bean says Sasha gets a turn too!

And look who else came for a visit.  This was in the evening when the mom bean was out burning stuff on the grill.  Hey, he better not be chewing on my grass!

Cozy kitty

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today!


Our mom bean has been busy lately but I've been able to pin her down for some cuddles while she has her morning coffee.  

I know she really likes it, even though I sometimes use my claws to let her know she's slacking off on the petting.  Hey, sometimes she needs a reminder!





When I'm not cuddling with mom, or napping on the bed, and if the sun is out, the mom bean is opening up the sunny room for us.

Appawently it wasn't quite warm enough for me the other day.  I'm snuggled under the towel.  I don't know why the mom bean laffed at me - I think I was being furry smart.

It's a cool day here today with no sun so I guess mom's lap will be the place to be.  Have a great day efurrybody!

No fun Monday

Hi efurrybody!  Saku here today.

It's furry cold here today.  Mom bean told me it is -17C (1F).  It's a good day to stay cozy and nap.

But we did have a bit of excitement this morning. This burd hit the front window while I was cuddling with mom bean.  We both ran to the window to look out.  It looked like it was a goner but when she went out to check on it a few minutes later it was sitting up and looking around.

Confusion

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

I was helping the mom bean with her knitting last night and she decided I could model the hat.  Looks purrfect, NOT!  Silly mom bean.

So, the mom bean hasn't been chasing green papers for awhile now.  Sasha and I talked about it, and we were a little worried but she brought home another bag of kibble, and more cans of stinky goodness.  There's enough to last for elebenty sixty two naps so we're okay.  

The best part is she's here at the house with us, and her nap is usually planted on her our chair.  Except she keeps bringing out the knitting!  

Oh, and something else that is confusing is our sunny room.  The other day it was furry sunny out there.  Sasha and I both asked politely (not so much - mom) to go out there so mom bean opened the door for us.  When we didn't immediately come in, mom bean closed the door on us!  Pretty soon we were asking, not so politely, to be let back inside.  It was sunny but furry cold!

Do you s'pose the sun forgot to turn on the heat that day?  We sure hope it turns back on soon!

Here she goes again

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here today.

I've woken up from my nap (briefly) to share with you some news.  You won't believe it!  Well, maybe you will.

She's going to do it again!

This morning she pulled out the blue box and the grey bag again! Some of the stuff was in the blue box after she washed the stuff from the last trip abandonment.  We're not certain but we expect this means she'll be leaving us again soon.  

We guess the weather might be getting to her.  Even though she's only been home for elebenty ninety three naps, appawently she hates the snow and the cold!

Saku and I have told her to just be like a cat and stay indoors! Does she listen, no she does not.

Of course, she did need to go out to get us our stinky goodness.  Most of this she picked up at a box sale, at half price, which is good 'cuz they are pretty much half boxes.  I'll tell you a secret.  Mom bean stacks the cans up so that as the Mom bean or brofur pull them from the box, we get something different efurryday.  Sweet!

Time to finish my nap.  We won't be around for another elebenty ninety seven naps since the mom bean is abandoning us again.  See you in a few weeks.  Stay warm and healthy efurrybody!

It's back!!

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today.

Nope, I'm not talking about Sheldon...did you think I might be?  

It's the cat tree, back in the window in the noisy box room!  It has spent the last several months in the sunny room.  But now that the sunny room isn't furry sunny or warm, mom bean moved it back where I wanted it to be.  

There has been a whole lot of noise around here the last couple of days with the mom bean moving lots of stuff around, using the sucking masheen (even on the cat tree!), and splashing waters on the floor.  Do you know she gets mad at me when I do that?  Who can understand these beans?

Anyway, it's an easy Sunday here, with lots of lounging and napping to be done.  Sheldon got his easy on earlier this week; mom bean says I have to share this photo of him in his new place. Appawently the stairs are a great place to take a nap.                                                                                                                                          Have a great easy Sunday efurrybody!

We is having the really warm, hots here.  Sami and Sasha are out in the sunny room, but the sun left so I'm hanging out with the mom bean in the noisy box room.  She says, so far, there is no sign of thunder boomers.  That's good 'cuz that scares me.

Snowy Sunday

Hi efurrybody, it's Sami here today.

Those brofurs of mine tend to hog the blog so I made sure to look extra cute (and awake) so I could be today's poet...'er poster.




We is having lots of snow today.  Mom bean isn't happy - she says it was supposed to miss us.  


Not much to watch on cat television today, no birdies or bunnies, just lots of snow flakes.



It's a purrfect day to curl up for a long winter's nap.  I gotta go find the brofur Sasha of mine.  Have a good Sunday efurrybody!

Cool and cloudy Caturday

Hi efurrybody, it's Sami here today.

There's nothing on cat television today.  It's cloudy and cool and just a little foggy too.

Sasha asked mom bean if we could go out to the sunny room, but she pointed out it is not sunny and quite cold out there.

It's a purrfect day to curl up with my favorite brofur and take a long winter nap.

Friday Funny

Say it isn't snow!

But, it is, it really, really is snowing!  Mom bean is furry annoyed.  Me, I'm just glad to be a cat hanging out in my tree.

After the storm

Hi efurrybody!  

We had a thunderstorm yesterday, with lots of boomers.  It was sort of scary.  Sasha hid in the basement and didn't come out until mom bean called him for dinner.

Sasha likes to eat his dinner in the sunny room away from us.  When mom bean took it out there she looked out the window and found someone else having dinner.

She says this isn't the same Mr. Bunny from the spring as this is just a little one.  (The lawn needs mowing but it's really not that tall!)

We're having a cloudy Caturday with cool temperatures.  It's a good day to stay indoors and nap.  Have a good one efurryone!

Not a sunny Sunday

Hi efurrybody, it's Saku here today.

We're having a cloudy Sunday here so we're all hanging in the house. 

These are some pictures from last weekend instead.  Mom bean let us all outside* for a few minutes before she cutted the grass.

I love, love, love to roll around in the grass!

Yep, this grass sure needed cutting...my tail almost got lost in it.  

I sure hope the sun comes out today, maybe the mom bean will let me out again!

Late Caturday afternoon

Hi efurrybody, Sami here!

It was a beautiful sunny day here (14C/57F) so mom bean opened up the sunny room for us.

Sasha spent most of the day there, and after supper I took my turn.  I may not have a sunpuddle but it is furry cozy out here.

Sunday Surprise

Hi efurrybody, Sami here today.

The mom bean surprised me when she came and asked if I wanted to do my selfie, cuz I was fast asleep.

That's the furst surprise, can you guess the second?

I'm in the sunny room!  Mom bean says she is furry surprised because it is already the middle of November, but the sunshine is warm enough for us to have the room open still.

The third surprise is my silly brofurs are still hanging out on mom bean's bed instead of hanging out with me.

What a silly question, even this kitty knows you can't see the wind.

But a kitty can see what the wind can do!

After the sun and wind, the rain came too.

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

This is the post that almost wasn't.

You see the mom bean's tippy tap masheen went crazy yesterday!

She said it still turned on but when she tried to tippy tap, it changed the letters and put spaces where they weren't s'posed to be.  She and the bean brofur did efurrything they could think of, even doing something called a fact story re-set.  The fact story didn't work, so she gave up and went to get a new tippy tap masheen.

This one has something she calls 8 windows but there is only one window I can see.  Either way she says the 8 windows is going to take some getting used to.

Well, I like my window.  Can you see it is wet?  That's because it was raining outside.  Really hard!

The snow is going away furry fast and we've been able to hang out in the sunny room a lot more.  Even when it isn't sunny!

I has a question.  My mom bean's furriend told her I isn't a tuxie kitty `cuz I don`t just have white on my chest.

See I has white legs and white on my face.

Mom bean says I looks like I`m wearing a saddle.

Do you suppose that mean I's a pony?

If I can't be a tuxie that would be kind of cool.
