Looking back at 2018

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!  Our mom bean has been watching the news this morning and efurrybody seems to be looking back at the year that was...so we thought, hey maybe we can get her off her duff and do one of those for us.  Don't worry, it's gonna be short.

We asked her to count our posts for the year...counting this on, we're at 39.  That's right, not even one a week!  Sheesh mom, you are a slacker.  Then we went and looked at the photos she saved of us...only 57 and a lot of those included that brat Sheldon.  Twelve of our posts featured napping...of course that is a favorite pastime of ours.  We had one visit from Angel Sami when the mom bean abandoned us the first time in the year.  She didn't even post before she abandoned us the second time!

Three of our posts showed how helpful we are.  But if she thinks we'll keep that up in 2019, she's got another think coming right.

In four of our posts, the cat tree was featured and the sunny room four times.  But that darned sticky bean was mentioned 9 times.  Seriously mom, who is this blog about?

Well, she's still the only mom bean we have so we have to put up with her.  Our bean brofur is pretty darn good too, but he sometimes forgets to open the stinky goodness at precisely 6:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.  If the mom bean forgets, we help by reminding her.  MOL!

From our house to yours, Happy New Year's Eve efurrybody!

She's back and we're happy!

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!
The mom bean finally got back from her trip.  We, Sasha and I, survived her absence by annoying spending time with our bean brofur.  He remembered to feed us - as if we'd let him forget, and cleaned our kitty litters regularly.  He's a pretty good guy!

We were furry happy to see the mom bean and gave her lots of lubbings even though it was furry late (1 a.m.) and she would have liked to go to sleep.  We know she really didn't mind that much. :)

I don't think we would have been so happy if we'd only realized what she was up to on her trip.  She was seeing other kitties!!!

This was a Roatan kitty, at the monkey and sloth farm.  Since he/she was sleeping mom bean was satisfied with just taking a photo.

This a Mexican kitty, at the little town of Mahahual.  Mom bean said he/she was furry nervous so no touching allowed.

Here's a Jamaican kitty.  He was at the restaurant and convinced beans to feed him/her.  Mom bean gave the kitty some cheese from her taco salad and he/she gobbled it right up.  She did get in a couple of pats...hussy!

Meet Alley, the guard kitty (not so much) at Oak Alley.

She really liked mom bean and followed her around...at least until the next group of visitors came by.

This kitty was at Laura Plantation.  He/she was content to roll around in the dirt and enjoy the sunshine.

Mom bean wasn't able to pat him/her...that's okay by us!

The last kitty she met was this girl, with her owner, in a used bookstore in New Orleans just off Canal Street.

Mom bean says this kitty is 17 years old and just a sweet heart.

Okay mom, we get it....you were missing us so much you had to find other kitties to get your fix.  Just remember, we might not be as furgiving next time!

Have a great day efurrybody!  We're off to start catching up with all our furriends.

The calm before the storm

Hi efurrybody!  Mom bean says the sticky bean is on his way to our house.  We figure we better get in our naps before he shows up.

I'm lounging on the mom bean's bed.

Sasha is curled up in his favorite spot on the couch.

But we both know neither spot is safe from the sticky bean!

Have a great weekend efurryone!
