Christmouse past and napping present

 Hi everybuddy! 

Hope you all had a good Christmouse. It was pretty good here, even with a visit from the sticky bean. He's not quite as sticky as he used to be and I even had a nap on the couch while he was sitting on the other end. Mom bean says that's darn near a miracle.

I got a brand new lamb nip toy and a wand toy with a squeaky mouse and feathers too. The little bean liked playing with the wand toy and I chased the mouse. Once I grabbed the mouse in my mouth and took off with it with the little bean holding the wand. Mom bean said it was furry funny but she didn't get a photo.

She did get this photo of me though. The last few nights I've decided I want to sleep under the covers with her. I only get to stay there if I don't scratch her...it usually doesn't last long. But one night I actually fell asleep!

The mom bean has been doing some more yarn stuff for the sticky bean.

She needed a handsome model for a photo shoot.  Of course I was a willing participant....not.

But the color does look good with my eyes, don'tcha think?

Survivor, sticky bean style

 

Hi efurrybody, Saku here.  You'll be happy to know that we survived another visit from the sticky bean.  Sasha spent most of his time on the couch and suffered a number of intrusions, mostly gentle.

Me, I stayed out in the sunny room until the mom bean made me come indoors.  The rest of the time, I hid out under her chair (and mine).  From that place I was able to teach that sticky bean a lesson or two.  

He likes to watch Y-tube videos on the mom bean's puter and sits on her lap or in the chair.  Sometimes when he was hopping up or down I'd take a swipe at those feet just to give him a good scare.*  

I wonder why he calls me the mean kitty?  MOL!

*no three year olds were harmed in the making of this post.

Getting along!

Hi efurrybody, Sheldon here!  The old mom bean came for to visit me and Stanley.  Oh, and she says the sticky bean and his mom too.

She stayed overnight and slept in the big boy bed that the sticky bean is supposed to sleep in, but he doesn't very often.  (He prefers to snuggle in with his mom).

Bet you can guess who sleeps on the bed!  Yep, me and Stanley!  We even sleep on it when the old mom bean is there.  

She opened the window just a little bit and we both wanted a chance to get some whiffies.  Aren't we good at sharing?

Speaking of being good, check out this picture of me and the sticky bean.

He's (finally) starting to learn to be nice.  Of course, if he wasn't I'd just up and run away and find somewhere out of his reach.  No one efur said I was dumb. MOL!

A visit with Sheldon

Hi efurrybody, Sheldon here today.

The old mom bean came to visit me the other day! I'm sure she'd say she came to see the sticky bean but we all know she really wanted to visit with me.

I'm not a big fan of that sticky bean.  Sometimes he tries to pick me up or pull my tail.  Stanley lets him do that but I sure don't!  

So when he finally went out to the front porch I seized my chance and had a cuddle with her. It may not look like it but I was purring in this picture.  It didn't last long though 'cuz that sticky bean loves his grandma.

Still here

Hi efurrybody, it's Sasha here today.  This photo was taken several days ago during my elebenty sixty seventh nap of the day...when the sun was shining.  Today it's cloudy and cool so no sunny room time for us.



We did have some time in the sunny room yesterday but the sticky bean was here.  He pestered me and pestered me until I finally had had enough and I snapped at him.  (No, Sasha did not bite E).  He left me alone then and I was able to get a good nap.

I think the mom bean should invest in one of these cages for the sticky bean!  Mom bean says it was at our bean sisfur's friends house and is meant for the woofies.  Whatever, if it would keep the sticky bean away from me.

A visit from Sheldon

Hi efurrybody!  It's Sheldon here today.  

The old mom bean came for a visit to my new place.  You can tell I'm quite content here.  I've got lots of sunny places to hang out and nap, good foods, and a brofur to play with.  Even the sticky bean isn't that bad...though he sure loves to hug me.


Here's my brofur Stanley  He likes to sneak out the door when the beans aren't watching.  But he's a good kitty too because when the old mom bean calls here kitty kitty he stops and lets her bring him back inside.

I do like it when the old mom bean comes to visit and I always get in a good cuddle.  She's makes a great place to sleep at night because she's soft and warm.  Stanley loves her too and enjoys head butting her to get pats and scritches.

We all need a little help

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today!

I'm helping the mom bean!  You see, our bean sisfur's furriend has made a blanket for the sticky bean and mom bean is finishing it off by crocheting a border.  She set it down on the floor for a minute and I sat on it to make sure it doesn't run away on her.  

I gotta tell you it is pretty darn soft!  In fact it is so comfy I think I'll take a nap.  Mom, you're gonna have to wait until I wake up to work on it.  Sorry, not sorry!

A Sheldon update

Hi efurrybody!  It's me Sheldon!

The old mom bean came out to visit the sticky bean.  While she was there I had a nice cuddle with her.  In fact, I slept with her on the couch the whole night!

Things are really good here for me. I've gotten furry big...maybe even bigger than Saku!  I have a sunny room to hang out with my other brofur Stanley too.  We like to have morning tussles and there are a great set of stairs we can run up and down.

 This is my brofur Stanley.  He really doesn't like having his picture taken so it took the old mom bean awhile to get him looking at her.

I think he was trying to tell her he wants to go out into the sunny room.  
When he came to live with us, he was really skinny.  He had been spending most of his time outside and didn't get fed furry often.  Now he's getting round and his coat is healthy.  Stanley loved the old mom bean too, and climbed up to head butt her and get scritches.

The sticky bean is okay.  He sometimes pulls our tails but he knows he needs to be gentle.  He and Stanley play together too, the sticky pulls a toy on a string and Stanley chases it.  Me, I'm happy to watch...though as the old mom bean learned, I love to jump on whatever is moving under the blanket!

A very happy Caturday!

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today!!  It's a furry happy Caturday, 'cuz the sticky bean went home this morning.

He's been here for three days with his mom, and boy o' boy is he busy.  He even plays with our kitty toys and scatters them all over the place! (as if the cats don't do the same thing - mom bean).  

I'm enjoying the peace and quiet, while the mom bean runs around cleaning stuff up. Sasha came upstairs once but with all the mom bean's noise he's still not sure the sticky bean is gone so he's gone back downstairs where it is quiet.  It's a good thing to be a kitty, a heck of lot less work.

Hi efurrybody!  Mom bean says the sticky bean is on his way to our house.  We figure we better get in our naps before he shows up.

I'm lounging on the mom bean's bed. 

Sasha is curled up in his favorite spot on the couch.  

But we both know neither spot is safe from the sticky bean!

My new life as an only kitty

Hi efurrybody, it's Sheldon here today from the town of Melville. 

Things are pretty good here at my new home.  The sticky bean likes to chase me but I've found places where I can hide.

This is part of the closet in the new mom bean's room.  It's a great place to hang out 'cuz it has a window with sunshine.  Now if I can just convince the new mom bean to put a kitty bed up here I'm set. 

But it's all good as the bedroom has windows that lets in lots of sunshine so I generally nap on her our bed.  

I has my furry own cat tree too (some furriends of the old mom bean gave it to me!).  I like to sit on top of it, cuz it takes a while for the sticky bean to climb on it.  I hear him coming and I can get away.

My new mom bean gives me stinky goodness once a day and I has a bowl of dry food in the pantry.  So far, the sticky bean hasn't found that yet.  I also have my furry own water dish on the counter in the bathroom.  Efurrything has to be out of the way of that sticky bean...he's sneaky!




Speaking of sneaky, here I am hiding out under his trampoline.  The old mom bean says I better be careful.  No worries, I'll hear him coming and I'll get out of there.

Oh, and she says that Stanley has a new home too.  He got to move to a farm where he can chase mice and burds.  The new mom bean was a bit sad about that, but since he's an outside kitty it makes more sense.  So far, I'm okay with being an only kitty.  I get lots of lap time with the new mom bean, I got lots of sunny places to nap in, and I don't have to share the stinky goodness. Yep, life is good!

Sheldon's new home

Hi efurrybody, Sheldon here today reporting in from my new home.

The old mom bean and brofur brought me here yesterday.  I was such a good kitty in the car, I only sang the song of my people for a short time before I settled down and took a nap.  When I got to the new house, I was a little nervous 'cuz that sticky bean was there and he is noisy!!!  

But pretty soon I found some hiding spots.  I especially like the new mom bean's bed.  There is lots of sunshine in the room, I know I'll get lots of good naps in there.  

The new mom bean called this morning to say I'd found the litter box last night (as if I wouldn't!), and had a good supper last night of stinky goodness.  

I'm going to be an only kitty for awhile, at least until the colds are over.  Stanley decided to stay where he is, as he likes his bean Andy.  Plus the old mom bean says he wouldn't be happy being an indoor kitty all the time.  I'm kind of happy about that and I know I'll get lots of exercise as that sticky bean likes to chase me.  Luckily, I can run up and down the stairs way faster than him.

The unpacking is almost done but there are lots of empty boxes to explore, I have a box of toys that Sasha and Saku sent with me, I've found a great place to look outside, and I even got a new cat tree!  I think I might like this place.

*The cat tree was given to us by Friday night dinner friends.  It's similar to the one here, but a different color.  I'm sure Sheldon and Eli will have fun playing on it. :)

Hip, hip, hooray!

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here today with some really big news!!!

Mom bean told us that in a couple of months the sticky bean and our bean sisfur are moving. Hooray, that means we'll finally have peace and quiet for our naps.  AND I won't have to worry about the sticky bean trying to pull my tail anymore!!

How many naps do you s'pose that will be?  

On my own

Hi efurrybody, it's Sheldon here today.  

I has the sun room all to myself today! Well, at least for the next little while anyway.

The sticky bean is having a nap with his mom bean, and my brofurs are sleeping somewhere else.

That means I get to hang out wherever I want, even on the back of the chairs. Mom bean says my angel sisfur Sami used to do that too.

The whiffies are allllll mine too!  Mom bean says I have been a furry good boy and not scratching at the screens lately so the windows can be opened.  If I'd only known....

MOL, I made mom bean work to get this photo.  I'm hiding under the sticky bean's trampoline.  She had to get down on the floor to find me.  

Oh, oh I think I hear that sticky bean hollering.  Time to go hide somewhere else.

The sticky bean is leaving!

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today.

Check this out!  Do you see that teddy bear strapped down in the suitcase?  Can you guess what this means???

Yep, the sticky bean is going away for a long time*, but mom bean says not furever.  Sigh....

I'm making sure to send some of my furs with him, cuz I think he'll miss me.  I sure won't miss him....well, maybe a little bit.  He does drop fuds on the floor sometimes.

*D and Eli are flying out to B.C. on Tuesday to visit Eli's daddy and family for just over two weeks.  It will be quiet (and a heck of a lot less messy) around here.  

Caturday annoyance

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today.  Do you see my airplane ears?  I am a little upset.  

The sticky bean has discovered climbing and he took over our cat tree.  It's a CAT tree kid!  

Mom bean has moved the tree to the sunny room so we can still watch the birds.  But I liked this channel on cat television!

Sheesh, do we have to share efurrything with this bean?

Yummy in my tummy

Hi efurrybody, Sheldon here today.  

One good thing about having the sticky around is that he drops his fuds.  First I had some Cheerios, and now I'm having some banana.  Yum!

Our furriends at It's all about the Cats like to eat lots of bean fuds too! I wonder if they'd like the sticky bean's breakfast too?

Nap - Interrupted

Hi efurrybody,  Sasha here today.

It's a hard life living with a little sticky bean I tell you.  Not only does he interrupt my naps but he has a thing for my tail.  What is a kitty to do?

He's even taken to invading our sunny room!  But there is a fence on the stairs so I can hide in the basement with my bean brofur.

Sigh....will life efur get back to normal around here?  

Time to go find a good place to hide.  Have a good Caturday efurrybody!

Happy Boxing Day!

So Santa Paws made it here after all!  

After a long winter's nap (with touching!) we all woke up to find these.

It's a little hard to tell, but there is a new wand toy with fevvers, a squeaky mouse, and a nip worm.  We all like them furry much!

Even with three toys, the fight was on.  It was short-lived though as the mom bean hollered at Saku and Sheldon to cut.it.out.

Okay, mom...we'll share.  At least while you are watching. :p

And check this out, Saku got a new box too, just in time for Boxing Day!  That sticky bean broke his other one (he liked to flip it over and sit on it...silly bean).  Mom bean got him that thing in the background...maybe he'll learn to sit on it instead.

We hope all of our furriends had a wonderful Christmouse and a Happy Boxing Day too.
