Sleepy cat

Hi efurrybody and happy Caturday!

The mom bean has spending lots of time watching the hurry hard game on the television.  I find it boring so I've been doing what efurry kitty would do, I nap.

This is my favorite spot on the bed.  It's furry comfy! 

Time for my another Caturday nap.  Hope you get one too. 

Another visitor

Hi efurrybody, we had a visitor today!  Sasha and I (Saku) were out in the sunny room enjoying the warm sun when mom bean came out to check on us.  NO, she wasn't the visitor!  It was Squirrel!!

The mom bean has been putting out seeds on the top of the bird feeder so more birds can eat.

 Squirrel spotted her through the window!

 He took a last few nibbles and then....

Away he went!  Goodbye squirrel!!   See you tomorrow.

Helping/not helping Caturday

Hi efurrybody, it's Saku here today.  I sure like helping my mom bean with her needles.  

Mom bean says it's fine when I cuddle in and sit still but....

sometimes I has to let her know I need some attenshun!

Callie Caturday

Hi efurrybody, it's cuzin Callie here today.  My hoo-man sent these pictures to Sasha and Saku's mom bean - she thought you'd like to see how big (and smart) I am!

I got these woofies where I want 'em.  That's Gracie (black and white) who is supposed to live at the neighbour's house and my sisfur woofie.  

Oh, I should tell you about their latest escapade.  They went running last weekend and while they were away, Cola got caught in a snare for a coyote.  Luckily it broke (the trapper said he does that deliberately so he doesn't trap a deer), but she spent several hours in the trap.  This is what her nose looked like!  She had to go see the ebil v e t for medicine.  Thankfully she's all better now.

Who's she visiting?

Hi efurrybody, it's Sheldon here today!

The old mom bean came to visit me and Stanley this week.  She likes to say she's visiting the sticky bean and his mom, but I knows the truth!

We had lots of cuddles and I even slept with her all night both nights she was here.  She was furry happy though she did say I hogged most of the couch.  

And here's my brofur Stanley.  Even though he never lived with the old mom bean, he sure loves her too.  He likes to get right in her face and head butt her.  She sure appawciates all that cat furs. MOL!

Happy, not happy Caturday

Hi efurrybody, mom bean was so happy to see we were hanging out together.  Sasha, on the other hand, was not thrilled to find Saku napping so close to his favorite spot.

So, of course, she had to bring out the flashy box.  Neither of us is happy now.

Sunny Caturday

Hi efurrybody!  We sure hope you're all having a great Caturday.  So far ours is full of sunshine and warms.  Mom bean says the rain is coming but for now we're enjoying napping in the sunny room.

We've had more visitors too!  Sometimes they pose for the flashy box, this guy wouldn't! 

We think the grackle didn't want his photo taken either.  He looks scary doesn't he?

Mr. Robin was much more accommodating.  

The trees in the neighbour's yards are starting to bloom and when the windows are open in the sunny room we can smell the flowers.

Spring is definitely here!  Have a great Caturday efurrybody!

Caturday fun

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today. 

I has a new game for you to play with your beans.  Check it out!


First you need a ball of yarn and a plastic bag.  Get the beans to leave it where you can get at it.

Next, all you has to do is chase that bag around and work that ball of yarn out of it.

I'm so fast that mom bean only got blurry pictures.

 Once you get that ball out of the bag you can chase it around the living room.  Or maybe your bean will put it back in the bag so you can do it all over again.

It's a great game!  A little tiring though, so I think I'll take a nap now.

A very public Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today.  

This photo is proof that a kitty has no hope of getting any privacy around here from mom bean and that darned flashy box.  Even the snowman is getting in on the act.

I think the mom bean is just jealous of my flexibility.

Happy Caturday

Hi efurrybody, it's Sasha here today.

It may not look like it, but I'm sharing my chair with the mom bean.  There is lots of room for her to sit but does she appawciate my efforts?  No, she does not!  She says she purrfurs to sit where I'm sitting and I should sit on the other side of the chair.  Na-ah!  This is the furry best spot and I'm staying put.

Reprieve

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here today.   

I am napping on the mom's chair under her tippy tap machine. It's nice and warm and best of all, the sticky bean is napping too!  But not near me.  I like that a lot 'cuz I'm not a fan of that little bean.  He's loud and likes to chase me.

He also likes to chase Sheldon too.  I'm okay with that and Sheldon doesn't seem to mind as much as I do.  

Mom bean says that Sheldon will be moving with the sticky bean and the bean sisfur soon.  But she's convinced the sisfur that maybe Sheldon* should stay here until most of the unpacking is done.  Don't tell her but I think mom bean is going to miss that silly kitten.

Time for me to finish my nap before that sticky bean wakes up. Then it will be time to hide and find another place to nap.

Hi efurrybody, Sheldon here today.  

One good thing about having the sticky around is that he drops his fuds.  First I had some Cheerios, and now I'm having some banana.  Yum!

Our furriends at It's all about the Cats like to eat lots of bean fuds too! I wonder if they'd like the sticky bean's breakfast too?

What a mess!

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here today.

I'm curled up in the corner of the couch enjoying a nap while the house is quiet.  The sticky bean and his mother are away visiting their furriends.



Here's what they left behind for the mom bean to clean up.  Yikes, I'm glad I'm a cat!

Calculated Caturday

I think I've figured something out.  You wanna know what it is?

If I want the mom bean to catch up on our blog, I just have to pin her down beside the 'puter.

Gosh I'm a smart kitty!

We is having the really warm, hots here.  Sami and Sasha are out in the sunny room, but the sun left so I'm hanging out with the mom bean in the noisy box room.  She says, so far, there is no sign of thunder boomers.  That's good 'cuz that scares me.

It's Caturday!

Hi efurrybody!

Saku and Sasha here today.  Is there anything better than napping in a sun puddle on a Caturday?  We think not.

We are having the warms here so we're getting lots of sunny room time.  It's great!  Mom bean even opened a window so we can get some whiffies too.

We sure hope efurryone is having a great Caturday!

Cuddling Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here. 

I'm hanging out with the mom bean and little bean.  We're She's watching the hurry hard guys and we're enjoying a nice cuddle.

It's a cozy way to spend the afternoon. Though you can bet I won't stay too long.  I got impawtent things to do....like taking an afternoon nap.

All of the cats have been doing well with a baby in the house.  No one seems to be concerned when he cries (and he definitely has a good set of lungs), nor pay any attention when he is quiet.  Saku even seems to enjoy being near him and often comes for a cuddle when I'm holding Eli.  

Caturday chores

It's Caturday so the mom bean is running around doing chores.

I'm doing my part too!
This laundry might run off if I don't sit on it. 

Plus it needs a little more furring.  Time for a nap!

Sleepy Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

I'm chillin' on the couch with the mom bean.  She's watching the hurry hard guys on the noisy box, and working on some knitting.

I'm helping her make sure she doesn't drop a stitch and adding a little of my furs.  MOL

We had a late start to the morning.  Unlike yesterday's kitty we couldn't wake the mom bean up this morning.  She said, she woke up with my-grain in the middle of the night.  In the dark, she couldn't find the right pills so took some tie-le-nol that had a sleep aid.  It helped with the pain but it sure made her sleepy.

Sami and I tried furry hard to wake her up so she could feed us our breakfast but despite our best efforts she kept on sleeping.  We're gonna hide those pills!

Cool and cloudy Caturday

Hi efurrybody, it's Sami here today.

There's nothing on cat television today.  It's cloudy and cool and just a little foggy too.

Sasha asked mom bean if we could go out to the sunny room, but she pointed out it is not sunny and quite cold out there.

It's a purrfect day to curl up with my favorite brofur and take a long winter nap.

Lost and found Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!  

Check it out...I have my blanket!

This silly thing got lost for almost ever.*  Mom bean was furry surprised when she came home from chasing green papers this week and found it near the fud bowls.

I was furry happy to find it too, but I'm not telling mom bean where it was.  That's my little secret!

I'm even happier now, 'cuz the mom bean washed it and made it smell nice and feel extra soft.  

I've been taking it efurry where I go to nap.  I'm sure a happy cat!

*The blanket has been missing since sometime in September.  I searched high and low for it - and the house isn't that big.  I have no idea where it was and if Saku knew he hadn't brought it out until now.
