It's Cold out there

 And I don't care!

Mom bean took this picture through a window 'cuz she says it is way too cold* to be in the sunny room.  

I'm just a sun seeking cat so I stuck it out for a little bit before she dared to venture out and bring me back indoors. I was fine, I tell you, but she worries. Guess I'll have to find another spot for a nap.  

*It might be sunny but the outside temperature is -16C and the inside temp isn't much higher...crazy old cat!

Confusion

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

I was helping the mom bean with her knitting last night and she decided I could model the hat.  Looks purrfect, NOT!  Silly mom bean.

So, the mom bean hasn't been chasing green papers for awhile now.  Sasha and I talked about it, and we were a little worried but she brought home another bag of kibble, and more cans of stinky goodness.  There's enough to last for elebenty sixty two naps so we're okay.  

The best part is she's here at the house with us, and her nap is usually planted on her our chair.  Except she keeps bringing out the knitting!  

Oh, and something else that is confusing is our sunny room.  The other day it was furry sunny out there.  Sasha and I both asked politely (not so much - mom) to go out there so mom bean opened the door for us.  When we didn't immediately come in, mom bean closed the door on us!  Pretty soon we were asking, not so politely, to be let back inside.  It was sunny but furry cold!

Do you s'pose the sun forgot to turn on the heat that day?  We sure hope it turns back on soon!

Our Sunday Easy

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here today.

It's a good day to take a long nap on the couch.  The mom bean is watching the hurry hard girls and it's cold outside and not the least bit sunny.

Saku is having his nap on the mom bean's our bed.  All is good in our world.

Thankful Thursday

Hi efurrybody, 

We've had some furry bad weather here in Saskatchewan this week.  There has been lots of snow and winds gusting up to 90 km/hr (55 mi/hr) and very cold temperatures.  We're furry thankful to be inside kitties, even if we can't use our sunny room.

But this little kitty wasn't as lucky as us.  

He was on a highway and narrowly missed being run over by a police car.  


Mom bean read us the article and it said:

"The snow-covered object was identified as a small, fluffy orange kitten.

The officers believe the furry feline had been taking shelter under or inside a vehicle before finding its way out on to the road and exposed to the elements."

"He wasn't moving very much, but was meowing non-stop," a post on the RCMP's website read.

Const. O took the kitten to the vet where it was treated. Const. C checked in on the cuddly creature later on to find it alive, well and meowing once more."

We're so thankful the little kitten was found.  We have a question though, since he was found by the police, do you suppose he might be named Copper?  

Pee Ess:  We haven't been able to visit much lately, but mom bean promises we'll be around soon as she is going to take a couple of days off soon.

Cool and cloudy Caturday

Hi efurrybody, it's Sami here today.

There's nothing on cat television today.  It's cloudy and cool and just a little foggy too.

Sasha asked mom bean if we could go out to the sunny room, but she pointed out it is not sunny and quite cold out there.

It's a purrfect day to curl up with my favorite brofur and take a long winter nap.

The mom bean says it is furry cold outside, so I`ve decided this is as close as I`m going to get to anything snowy.

Thankful Thursday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.

Today we is furry thankful because the mom bean finally stopped doing other stuff and sat down to help us tippy tap. She seems to think that spending her green papers and using the hot box in the cat food room is more impawtent and keeps muttering something about Chrissy Mouse.  I ask you, how can a mouse be more impawtent than us kitties?

And we still hasn't got her to read us efurrybody's blogs this week but we'll get there...sigh....a kitty has to have a lot of patience with these silly beans.


We is also furry thankful to be inside kitties.  Mom bean says it is furry cold outside, like elebenty bazillion below freezing (-18C/0F).  I still thought it would be a good idea to go out to the sunny room after dinner even though it wasn't sunny.

As soon as the mom bean opened the door I changed my mind.  Brrrr!  

Then Sami and Saku decided to check it out.  Do you know what the mom bean did then?  She shutted the door!

Saku asked to be let in first. But when mom bean opened the door she couldn't get a picture of Sami 'cuz she was just a blur running back inside!

We knows we are furry lucky to live where we are warm and get good foods and scritches and snuggles with mom bean.  We wish efurry kitty and woofie could find a pawsome furever home.

Oh, and mom bean says it is the Thanks giving turkey day where some of our furriends live.  We want to say thanks to you for being our furriends and we hopes efurryone has a great Thankful Thursday!

Catchup Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.

Sorry we has been away most of the week, the mom bean has been doing silly stuff.  Like getting up at early o'clock to watch the O'Lim-picks on the shiny box and those silly beans yelling hurry hard!  Though it means I get more snuggle time so most of the time I don't mind.

The problem is she isn't capable of tippy tapping at the same time as she watches, and 'cuz she was tired after chasing green papers she didn't do much when she came home either.

If I wasn't so tired, I might just fire her! MOL.

We has had another cold week.  Sometimes mom opens up the door to the sunny room but it's too cold.  I just stand there shaking my paw...I will not go out there!

Mr. Bunny was hanging out in the snow outside the bedroom window.  I am happy I am not a bunny.  I don't like the cold!

So while mom spends her time in front of the shiny box, I'm going to stay warm and cozy next to her and have a nap.  Have a great Caturday efurrybody!

Yesterday I wanted to go out to the sunny room but Mom said, "no way".

I didn't understand because it looked furry sunny out there.

Then mom opened the door.









She was right, it was furry cold out there!

I decided it was a better idea to go have a nap, MOL

ManCat Monday

The mom is off chasing green papers at her day hunting gig.  She told me it was cold outside this morning (freezing in fact) so I'm staying here where it is warm, and doing what cats do best.

Having a cat nap of course!  MOL

Cat-ch-up Sunday

Hi efurrybody, Sami and Sasha here!

Sorry we's been away for a day or so, but the mom says life is getting in the way.  We says she is just lazy MOL!

This morning we got her up nice an early o'clock to feed us.  You'd think she's be thrilled to be up so early to get stuff done but what did she do? She wented back to bed.  So we did too!

When she did get her lazy self out of bed we asked to go out to the sunny room.

Even though we asked nicely, she said no 'cuz it was too cold.

When we didn't take no nicely for an answer she let me (Sasha) out.  Brrrrr! She was right!

Mom says it was 1C (33F) out there. We thinks we'll wait until this afternoon before asking again, MOL!

So we decided it was time for mom to let us visit our furriends!

We gots the tippy tap mash-ine and her spot on the chair all ready for her.
