Having fun!

The mom bean seems to only take photos of me when I'm sleeping so when she took these I told her she had to post them on the blog.

She was working on her 'puter (not blogging for me!) and I decided to start kicking and putting the bitey on my toys.

I've got my lamb and my mustache!

Then the mom  bean disturbed me and I gave her the stink eye.

Just leave a guy alone when he plays.

All's well that ends well

 Hi efurrybody, it's cuzin Stanley here today.

The old mom bean took this photo of me waiting for the coffee to finish. More on that later.

Early this week, our sticky bean had another sticky bean come over for a visit.  The boys were playing hard and the other sticky bean fell on top of me and then our sticky bean fell on him. I didn't tell anyone I was hurting until that evening, when my brofur Sheldon wanted to play.

The young mom bean heard us hissing and hollering at each other and separated for the night. The next morning, she called the ebil v e t, and later when the old mom bean came to the house, we all went there. I had to stay for awhile and have x-rays. Thankfully, there was nothing broken - I was just very sore. They said I was a furry good boy and didn't get angry with them even when they poked me.

When I came home, I was furry wobbly on my legs, but the old mom bean petted me and gave me lots of loves while keeping the sticky bean away.  She also kept Sheldon in her bedroom overnight, and let me out of the other bedroom when I wanted a drink of water. I had to take some pain medications too for a few days - and I'm doing fine with that.

After a couple of days I was feeling so much better, and me and Sheldon had our morning tussle. 

The old mom bean took a video but her phone and puter won't talk to each other right now. But I can say that we both gave as good as we got, MOL!

Oh, as to the coffee thing - I used to live with the sticky bean's dad. He wasn't a good provider and sometimes all I had to eat and drink was coffee grounds and coffee water. Even now, I like the taste so even though the old mom bean usually drinks tea, she makes coffee to share with me when she visits. She's a good old dragon!

Hi efurrbody, Saku here.

Mom bean and I want to say thank you to efurryone who has stopped by the blog with condolences on Sasha's run to the Bridge.  

She sure has the sads, but I've been doing my best to give her lots of luvs and snuggles.  Yesterday I got her to play with my string toy and I think she really liked that.  

This morning I made her laugh too.  She says she wishes she was as flexible as me.  Guess we'll have to work out with the string toy some more. MOL!

Caturday fun

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today. 

I has a new game for you to play with your beans.  Check it out!


First you need a ball of yarn and a plastic bag.  Get the beans to leave it where you can get at it.

Next, all you has to do is chase that bag around and work that ball of yarn out of it.

I'm so fast that mom bean only got blurry pictures.

 Once you get that ball out of the bag you can chase it around the living room.  Or maybe your bean will put it back in the bag so you can do it all over again.

It's a great game!  A little tiring though, so I think I'll take a nap now.

Hanging with the sticky bean

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today.

I've been hanging with the sticky bean this morning watching that pesky brofur Sheldon.  I even let the little bean pat me on the head.  Mom bean says I'm such a good kitty.

Sheldon, on the other hand ...well, mom bean says I shouldn't be so hard on him 'cuz he is a kitten, but boy it's hard sometimes.

He's always hogging the toys, (not that I really want to play with them), and trying to eat my fuds and...well you get the picture.  Though I has to give it to him, he's a great wrestling buddy.  Mom bean says she just wishes we wouldn't do it in the middle of the night.  That's the best time!  No sticky bean to get in our way. :)

Sassy Saku

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

I like to play around mom bean's couch.  Lots of times I toss a toy or two underneath it. The game is to try to get it out.

It's pretty hard to do, especially with the mom bean yelling at me to quit scratching her couch.

I tried and tried but I couldn't get it.  AND then the mom bean quit taking pictures and got out the squirt bottle.

Okay no more scratching for me.




But mom you gotta move the couch and get my toy, please?

Easy on Sunday

There is no more sunny room for us kitties this weekend.  Mom bean says it is furry cold outside (-23C).  It's a good day to play with our kickaroo and....

 A great day to curl up with a furriend for a nap!

Easy Sunday

I'm hanging out with my brofur Sasha in the sun puddles on the mom bean's messy bed.

We suggested she needs to wait to make it until we're finished napping, MOL.



Besides I need a good nap 'cuz it's been a busy few days.

There were prezzies to inspect. Another kitty named Alti left some of her furs on the bag just for us!

I helped the mom bean set the table for Chrissymouse dinner.  I'm not sure why she had to put anything else on the table.  Don't I make a good centerpiece?






I had to play with the mom bean so she didn't get bored.  Being away from work for more than a day or two is hard on her 'cuz she hasn't enuf to do.  





Phew, that makes me tired just thinking about efurrything I had to do.  Time for a long nap!  Have a great easy Sunday efurrybody!

Mancat Monday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

Check it out, it's Monday and we're not posting at late o'clock. That's 'cuz the mom bean has the day off work.  She says it is 'cuz today is a hollerday for beans.  We don't care, as long as she doesn't holler at us, AND she stays home and hangs out with us.


Of course, we made sure we woked her up at early o'clock so she could feed us.


To make sure she was ready for the day I joined in on a rousing game with the fevver toy.

By this point she was getting worn out so I joined her on the bed.

I let her know it was okay to quit playing and have a rest.  We do have the rest of the day ahead of us, MOL

Tuxie Tuesday

Hi everybody, it's the Mom here!

I know Saku was whining concerned yesterday that I've left them behind again.  The poor baby!  He's in good hands with my son C (the cat whisperer) and my daughter D (his original mom).  He may have to wait a little bit for a meal to appear but I'm sure he'll be as heavy healthy as he was when I left when I arrive home on Friday.

In the meantime I took a few pictures of the cat to bring with me, in order to share with you, his friends.  (I like to look at them too...I miss the silly critters when I'm away)

I heard noises in my bedroom and came through the doorway in time to see Saku beating up on a drycleaner's bag (it had paper inside and made a satisfying noise).

He began scooching all the side of the bed as if to run away from me.  Silly cat!

Sunday Funday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.

Saku and I are having lots of fun today.  It's too cold to go out to the sunny room.  Besides it isn't sunny anyways.  So we is playing with our toys in the noisy box room.

I likes my yellow ball (which you can't see 'cuz I am is deading it, MOL)

Saku lubs his wand toy.  There are no fevvers left 'cuz he eats them.

We like the ESS too, especially when the mom puts some nip on it.  It's a great place to lounge.

Sometimes the scratcher has nip on it too.  Gotta check it out.

Nope, not today.  Mom will have to get on that, MOL

All that playing made Saku furry thirsty.  Good thing mom filled up the water fountain this morning.

I think I'll just go have a nap.

The Shadow Game

Hi evfurbody!  I want to show you my favorrite game in the whole wide world*.

It's the shadow game - do you play it too?

It starts when the light shines through the window and the evil monster appears above my head.

It come closer and closer.....until 

I gets it, MOL!!!  Die evil monster, die!!!

*at least it's his favorite game until the next distraction.
