Getting our easy on

Hi efurrybody, Sasha and Saku here today.  We're enjoying our easy in the sunny room!

Sasha is curled up in a chair fast asleep.  

Saku is up in the cat tree watching the great outdoors.

I've got a great view of the bird bath and the feeder too.  Mom bean went out earlier and filled both of them.  But for a little while both were empty!


But not for long - that's a grackle in the feeder. 

And one of the babies at the bird bath.  It's sure getting big and the feathers are coming in.

Then Mr. Squirrel showed up for his lunch.  Mom bean went out and told him to leave some for the birds.   He went away ...but for how long?

Our easy Sunday

Hi efurrybody, we're back!  The mom bean got back a couple of days ago and we're all hanging out on the bed enjoying our easy (even mom bean). 

We really think it's a great way to spend the day.

Don't even think about touching my belly mom!  I might be relaxed but I'll put the bitey on you.  MOL!

It's back!!

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today.

Nope, I'm not talking about Sheldon...did you think I might be?  

It's the cat tree, back in the window in the noisy box room!  It has spent the last several months in the sunny room.  But now that the sunny room isn't furry sunny or warm, mom bean moved it back where I wanted it to be.  

There has been a whole lot of noise around here the last couple of days with the mom bean moving lots of stuff around, using the sucking masheen (even on the cat tree!), and splashing waters on the floor.  Do you know she gets mad at me when I do that?  Who can understand these beans?

Anyway, it's an easy Sunday here, with lots of lounging and napping to be done.  Sheldon got his easy on earlier this week; mom bean says I have to share this photo of him in his new place. Appawently the stairs are a great place to take a nap.                                                                                                                                          Have a great easy Sunday efurrybody!

Easy on Sunday

Hi efurrybody, Sheldon here today.

There's a whole lot of this going on around here today.  Even the sticky bean has gotten into the act with a long morning nap that stretched well into the afternoon.  Mom bean says she is glad she's not his mom....she suspects he'll be up 'til all hours tonight.  Hey I'll have someone to play with!

Quiet, easy Sunday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here tonight.  

It's been a pretty quiet day around here.  The sticky bean went somewhere* this afternoon and mom bean says he won't be back until tomorrow evening.

I got in a good winter's nap while the mom bean did this.  Yep, I slept through all that noise and confusion.  Poor old woman, trying to get the lights and all the ornaments on the tree in some semblance of order is getting to be beyond her.

I'm not sure how long it will stay decorated either.  Between the sticky bean and the curious kitten, Sheldon, I'm betting she'll be doing more grumbling while she picks stuff up and tries to remember where is belongs on the tree.  Good times ahead for us kitties!

But I can assure you I won't be chasing any of those balls.  This is my favorite toy and I've had it since I was a kitten.  Mom bean says that means the toy is nearly 17 1/2 years old, since that's how old I am.

I don't chase it nearly as often as I used to, but I still have fun with it, when I decide it is time to play.

Well, I'll sign off for tonight - it's getting late and I'm ready for another nap.

It's Sasha here today.  I'm dreaming of a long nap but I suspect that will be short-lived.  The green guys are playing football today.  Best get in my rest while I can.

Saku is was relaxing on the couch until the mom bean used that darn flashy box.

Sami and Sasha say "we don't care".  We're going to enjoy our easy no matter what.

Sunday Easy

Hi efurrybody!  We're so glad to be back, though that darn mom bean is sure slow at posting for us.

We have tried to get her to catch up on some of our furriend's blogs but she's been doing stuff like chasing green papers, spending green papers on fuds (for us too!) and splashing waters on the floors and clothes and stuff around the house.

But she's finally sitting down and watching the hurry hard people so between ends we've got her attenshun.  At least until the feetsball starts.  Silly bean!m

We are having the warms (at least for November).  It was nearly 18C (65F) here yesterday and today it should be 11C (52F).  And you know what that means....we get to use our sunny room!  Hooray for sun puddle naps!!!

There is no more sunny room for us kitties this weekend.  Mom bean says it is furry cold outside (-23C).  It's a good day to play with our kickaroo and....

A welcome Sunday Surprise

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.  It's November and here in Saskatchewan where we live that usually means cold weather and snow.  We did get some of that earlier this week, but today the sun is warm and the snow we have is melting.  

You know what that means right?

Yep, the mom bean opened up the sunny room. It's so comfy in there we don't even need the little heater on.

With the mom bean chasing the sucky masheen around in the house (and yelling at the noisy box) it's a great day to curl up in the sun and have a nap.

Do you see what it says on the side of the box?  Mr. Noodles....yep that's a good description of my pesky brofur!




Sasha is hanging out on his favorite chair.

We woked him up when we came in the sun room so he looks a little surprised.  He's looking at me 'cuz I'm sitting on the coffee table.  I bet he wants me to come cuddle with him.

Easy on Sunday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!  

It's pretty quiet around here this morning.  We woke up the mom bean at early o'clock but she wouldn't get up.  Thank goodness for the bean brofur 'cuz otherwise we might have starved to death!

She finally got out of bed and now I am telling her what she has to tippy tap for us. In the meantime my fursibs Sami and Sasha are getting in a good morning nap.  Hey, we was up at early o'clock...not like someone we know.

We better get in our naps now because mom bean says she'll be yelling at the noisy box this afternoon.*  So I'm going to go curl up in my spot in front of the cat television until then.

Sneaky Sunday

Mom bean says I is a furry hard cat to take pictures of because efurry time I see the flashy box mom bean I stop what I is doing and come towards her.

So she has to be sneaky. Like coming around the island in the kitchen to catch me having my breakfast.

 Or sneaking up from the basement to catch me loafing on the new ottoman. 

She's right, 'cuz I got right off it to come see her.  

She says the only time she doesn't have to sneak up on me is when I'm napping with my big brofur, Sasha.  Yep, I don't even look at her then.  I lub my big brofur!

Is any of you like me, a little camera shy and wanting the bean's attenshun?  Does your bean have to sneak up on you too?
