Getting our easy on

Hi efurrybody, Sasha and Saku here today.  We're enjoying our easy in the sunny room!

Sasha is curled up in a chair fast asleep.  

Saku is up in the cat tree watching the great outdoors.

I've got a great view of the bird bath and the feeder too.  Mom bean went out earlier and filled both of them.  But for a little while both were empty!


But not for long - that's a grackle in the feeder. 

And one of the babies at the bird bath.  It's sure getting big and the feathers are coming in.

Then Mr. Squirrel showed up for his lunch.  Mom bean went out and told him to leave some for the birds.   He went away ...but for how long?

Easy on Sunday

Hi efurrybody, Sheldon here today.

There's a whole lot of this going on around here today.  Even the sticky bean has gotten into the act with a long morning nap that stretched well into the afternoon.  Mom bean says she is glad she's not his mom....she suspects he'll be up 'til all hours tonight.  Hey I'll have someone to play with!

Quiet, easy Sunday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here tonight.  

It's been a pretty quiet day around here.  The sticky bean went somewhere* this afternoon and mom bean says he won't be back until tomorrow evening.

I got in a good winter's nap while the mom bean did this.  Yep, I slept through all that noise and confusion.  Poor old woman, trying to get the lights and all the ornaments on the tree in some semblance of order is getting to be beyond her.

I'm not sure how long it will stay decorated either.  Between the sticky bean and the curious kitten, Sheldon, I'm betting she'll be doing more grumbling while she picks stuff up and tries to remember where is belongs on the tree.  Good times ahead for us kitties!

But I can assure you I won't be chasing any of those balls.  This is my favorite toy and I've had it since I was a kitten.  Mom bean says that means the toy is nearly 17 1/2 years old, since that's how old I am.

I don't chase it nearly as often as I used to, but I still have fun with it, when I decide it is time to play.

Well, I'll sign off for tonight - it's getting late and I'm ready for another nap.

Sunny Sunday Selfie

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here today!

We've got lots of sunshine today and it is nice and warm here in the sunny room.  Maybe there is even a little bit too much sunshine hence the paw over my eye.  




Hey mom bean, how about closing a curtain or two?  Ah, never mind, I'll just close my eyes and nap for awhile.

Sunday Selfie

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today.  

Mom bean decided to spend some time doing stuff with yarn, so I decided it was the purrfect time to practice being a lap cat.

It worked too, cuz the mom bean put down the yarn and we had a good cuddle until I decided I'd had enough.  Just as it should be.


I look pretty pleased with myself, don't I?

I've decided if I can't convince mom bean to pay attention to me I might as well join her.  We're watching the hurry hard guyz....boy they are sure noisy!!!

A welcome Sunday Surprise

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.  It's November and here in Saskatchewan where we live that usually means cold weather and snow.  We did get some of that earlier this week, but today the sun is warm and the snow we have is melting.  

You know what that means right?

Yep, the mom bean opened up the sunny room. It's so comfy in there we don't even need the little heater on.

With the mom bean chasing the sucky masheen around in the house (and yelling at the noisy box) it's a great day to curl up in the sun and have a nap.

Sunny Funday Sunday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

It's a furry sunny Sunday here, so we gets to go out to our sunny room again, hooray!

It was cool this morning, but the mom bean turned on the little heater for a little while. Between it and the sun, the room is warm enough for us AND mom.  She's such a wuss, MOL




Anyway, yesterday Sasha showed you one of his favorite toys* so today is my turn.  Behind me is my tent that mom botted me from a garage sale.  You would think they would sell garages at a garage sale but this is what she came home with.

I lub my tent!  Mom bean says it used to be a sticky bean toy, and would have had balls in it.

I has a ball in it too!  My ball has a bell in it and I loves to chase it around in my tent.









Sometimes mom bean scratches on the top of the tent.

When she does that I jumps!

Then my tent falls down with me inside.

That's fun too 'cuz I can chase my ball.  When I get tired of that I come out of the tent and the mom bean picks it up for me so I can start all over.

I've got her trained pretty good!

*Mom here - I hate the cat toy from yesterday.  It's noisy to begin with, it eats batteries, and when one of the cats (Sami) sits on it the motor burns out.  But the cats love it...
My daughter ordered it for the cats from a television advert.  She ordered one but received two and was billed for both.  This happened to a friend of mine as well, so if you purchase one be careful to check the billing information.

We is having an easy Sunday...at least I is, MOL

Mom has had the sucking masheen out but it died on her.  We is not sad about that!

But she went and gots another one so my Sunday nap will be disturbed soon. Back to my nap.
