Sunny Days

 Hi efurrybody, I'm having a nap right now but I asked the mom bean to post this for me.  We're having some sunny days, so I get to go out to the sunny room. This is what I did out there yesterday!

Sunny Days

Hi efurrybody, it's Sasha here today.  Saku is around too...just not sure where he is.  

The sun has been visiting the last couple of days, so the sunny room got opened up for us.  Mom bean says the floor is cold but that doesn't bother me...I has a fur coat.

There have been lots of naps and I even let the sticky bean sit with me one day.  He's not as grabby as he used to be, even pets me nice but boy, oh boy, can that bean talk!  Hard for a kitty to nap.


Maybe I need to learn to hide like Saku does.  



 He didn't even wake up when the mom bean took this photo.

A truly Happy Caturday!

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here today!

We've got sunshine today, and you know what that means?  Sunny room time!  Since I'm a furry old kitty, that sunshine feels so good on my furs and soaks right through to my bones. 

Ah, the life of a cat.  Now I just need to get the mom bean to get out of here with the flash box.*

Friday Funny

Lazy Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here.

We's having a lazy Caturday here.  The other kitties are napping in the sunny room, while I hang out in my other box.*

The sun is being lazy too, sometimes it shines, sometimes it doesn't

And seriously, mom bean could you not move a little to your right to get a better picture of me? 

Ahh that's a little better, now get away with that flashy box, you're interrupting my nap.

Easy Sunday

You know what else?  The mom bean says since the sun is shining we might even be able to hang out in the sunny room today!

Sunny Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

We is having sun shines today so I'm hanging out on the mom bean's messy bed to enjoy it.

I think this picture looks like I has a halo of light 'cuz I is such a good kitty , but the mom bean just laffs.

Whatever!  I's the one who is relaxing today while she runs around spending green papers, using the hot box and watching the hurry hard people.  So who gets the last laff?

Sunny Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.

We've got a sunny Caturday here so we are spending time in our sunny room.

I'm hoping the mom bean will take me outside like she did the other day.

I was in a big hurry to get down the stairs to get to some lovely green grass!





Mom bean hadn't yet mowed the grass so there were lots of  lovely long bits for me to chew.

Chomp, chomp, yum!

I got a little distracted when a bug jumped in the grass.

But I got my fill.









Before mom bean took me inside I took a few minutes to relax in the sun.  I lub the heat!

Mom bean says we need to enjoy it now, because furry soon it is going to get cold again.

I think she better get out there and harvest our nip.

*this is a volunteer plant, the plant in the container doesn't look nearly as healthy as this one.

Late Mancat Monday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.

It's another late Mancat Monday but I can't blame it all on the mom bean today.  I was enjoying my nap in the sunshine so much, that she had a hard time waking me up to post.

Sunny Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Sami here!

We is having a sunny Caturday!!!  We is so happy 'cuz it has been so rainy and cool that we hasn't been able to use our sunny room.

Today the door to the room is wide open and we can come and go as we like.

While I like to come and go a lots, the brofurs likes to stay out in the sun.


Saku wanted mom bean to rub his tummy so he could put the bitey on her.




Sasha would rather nap!

It's Caturday!

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.

Well, it is still Caturday here though it's furry late.  The mom bean has been busy helping us visit all of our furriends.  Except when she went outside to rake the lawn, to go get foods to fill the cold box, and to go get flowers.  Why those didn't wait until we got all caught up is beyond me, but I guess it's a bean thing!

This morning she took me outside so I could eat some grass.  Saku got to go outside too, but he hissed at mom bean when she brought him in so she said he's gonna have to stay inside if he's not going to be nice.

Sami got a chance too, but she doesn't like walking on the grass (silly girl kitty!) so she hung out with mom bean on the deck while she (mom bean that is) drank a cup of coffee.

It is furry warm here today, about 28C (86F) but we still got to go out to the sunny room.  Mom bean closed the curtains and left the fan on which helped.  I like to be warm 'cuz I'm almost fourteen now and a little skinny, the heat suits me fine!  The sunny room is a great place for a cat nap.  Speaking of which...

Easy Sunday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here again.

These are from yesterday, when it was furry warm in our sunny room.  It was cold when the mom bean was away, but she says this is the present she brought us from her trip.*







Today is another sunny day, so as soon as it warms up enough in our sunny room, Mom bean says she'll let us out there.

Then I'll get my easy on, just like yesterday!


*It was 20C (68F) in London, that's the temp we reached here in Regina yesterday!

Sunday Secrets

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

The mom bean let me out in the sunny room this morning because I'm a pest she lubs me.  I stayed out there for a little while but it was too chilly even for me!

So now I'm hanging out on my ess waiting for the sunny shines to warm up the room.

Oh....just a sec...

Gotta check the score...or maybe I am looking at the can of catnip beside the shiny box?

Only I know for sure, and I'm not telling the mom bean.  It's a secret!*

*The mom bean here.  Maybe Saku won't tell me his secret but I have one too.  When he was in the sun room this morning, he missed seeing this guy.

Sunny Funday Sunday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

It's a furry sunny Sunday here, so we gets to go out to our sunny room again, hooray!

It was cool this morning, but the mom bean turned on the little heater for a little while. Between it and the sun, the room is warm enough for us AND mom.  She's such a wuss, MOL




Anyway, yesterday Sasha showed you one of his favorite toys* so today is my turn.  Behind me is my tent that mom botted me from a garage sale.  You would think they would sell garages at a garage sale but this is what she came home with.

I lub my tent!  Mom bean says it used to be a sticky bean toy, and would have had balls in it.

I has a ball in it too!  My ball has a bell in it and I loves to chase it around in my tent.









Sometimes mom bean scratches on the top of the tent.

When she does that I jumps!

Then my tent falls down with me inside.

That's fun too 'cuz I can chase my ball.  When I get tired of that I come out of the tent and the mom bean picks it up for me so I can start all over.

I've got her trained pretty good!

*Mom here - I hate the cat toy from yesterday.  It's noisy to begin with, it eats batteries, and when one of the cats (Sami) sits on it the motor burns out.  But the cats love it...
My daughter ordered it for the cats from a television advert.  She ordered one but received two and was billed for both.  This happened to a friend of mine as well, so if you purchase one be careful to check the billing information.

Hi efurryone, Sasha here!

It's a furry happy Caturday here because finally the sun is shining, the snow is melting, and we can spent time out in the sunny room.

It is warm enough that the mom bean had the door open before lunch time.  That's the first time this spring.  Do you suppose it has finally arrived?

I lubs the sunshine on my face!   I was also trying to get the mom to let me out on the desk.


Mom says Sami was being shy.  Yeah, right!

Since I couldn't go outside, mom bean started up our chaser toy.

She says it has to stay out in the sunny room because it is noisy.

Sami came over to check it out too.


And of course.....

The pesky little brofur Saku had to get in on the action too!

Not an April Fool's Joke

Hi efurrybody, Sami here!

When the mom bean gotted home from chasing green papers she letted us out in the sunny room!!!!

It wasn't furry warm out here but it sure was sunny.

Me and Saku were furry happy!

But where is Sasha?

How would I know?  I is having fun running around the sunny room!

Hey Sasha, don't you want to get some sun?

Nope...he's waiting for the mom to hurry up and tippy tap our post!

Sunny Sunday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.

We are late posting today...but for good reason!
The mom bean was outside moving that white stuff (grey now) around and when she came inside she told us all to come with her.

We had our own kitty parade into the sunny room!

Check out all the sun in our sunny room!  Mom says it is a balmy 19C (66F) in here.  We've all found places to enjoy our first afternoon in the sunny room.

Saku is curled up in a basket, Sami is on a chair,  and I'm sitting in a sun puddle on the rug,

Catchup Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.

Don't be fooled, even though my eyes are almost closed, I am not asleep.   I've got the mom bean pinned down in this chair and she's staying here until we are caught up with our furriends.

She finally got home Thursday and then she spent all day yesterday doing bean stuff instead of hanging out with us!  Seriously, she's a hard bean to train.

We had furry good week, even with the mom bean gone. The bean brofur and bean sisfur remembered to feed us efurryday!

Sometimes they were late but we forgave them because they gave us stinky goodness!  I've managed to train them into giving us our stinky goodness cold from the cold box.  I don't like it when it is room temperature,  It's taken a lot of time and patience but they (and Mom) have finally figured it out, MOL

While the mom bean was away the sun shine came out and warmed up our sunny room and our bean brofur let us in.  Today it is cool again so it's a great day to curl up and have a nap.  Yawn....and that's what I plan to do now.  Have a great Caturday efurrybody!
