Sunny Days

 Hi efurrybody, I'm having a nap right now but I asked the mom bean to post this for me.  We're having some sunny days, so I get to go out to the sunny room. This is what I did out there yesterday!

Another visitor

Hi efurrybody, we had a visitor today!  Sasha and I (Saku) were out in the sunny room enjoying the warm sun when mom bean came out to check on us.  NO, she wasn't the visitor!  It was Squirrel!!

The mom bean has been putting out seeds on the top of the bird feeder so more birds can eat.

 Squirrel spotted her through the window!

 He took a last few nibbles and then....

Away he went!  Goodbye squirrel!!   See you tomorrow.

On my own

Hi efurrybody, it's Sheldon here today.  

I has the sun room all to myself today! Well, at least for the next little while anyway.

The sticky bean is having a nap with his mom bean, and my brofurs are sleeping somewhere else.

That means I get to hang out wherever I want, even on the back of the chairs. Mom bean says my angel sisfur Sami used to do that too.

The whiffies are allllll mine too!  Mom bean says I have been a furry good boy and not scratching at the screens lately so the windows can be opened.  If I'd only known....

MOL, I made mom bean work to get this photo.  I'm hiding under the sticky bean's trampoline.  She had to get down on the floor to find me.  

Oh, oh I think I hear that sticky bean hollering.  Time to go hide somewhere else.

Getting on our easy

Hi efurrybody, it's Sasha here today.  It's a warm day out in our sunny room...so warm that I am resting on the carpet instead of on the chair.  

Mom bean says I would live out there if I could.  I would too, but only if the little sticky bean didn't come out there!

Hi efurrybody, Saku here.  Mom bean said I could take over the blog from Sasha to tell you something pawsome!

Our Sasha had his birthday this past week and he is 18 years old.  I'm just 10 and that seems furry old to me.  But he is still furry healthy, will yell at the mom bean to give us the stinky goodness, (and gets seconds too!), and he even plays with a special toy sometimes.  He is the kitty that efurry kitty who has lived here lubbed.  I guess his pawtience with all of us is part of the reason he has lived so long.

Late Caturday afternoon

Hi efurrybody, Sami here!

It was a beautiful sunny day here (14C/57F) so mom bean opened up the sunny room for us.

Sasha spent most of the day there, and after supper I took my turn.  I may not have a sunpuddle but it is furry cozy out here.

Starting the new year off right

Hi efurrybody!  This 2016 year is sure starting off good for us kitties.

Now you might think this picture was taken this summer, but guess what, it wasn't!

Nope it was taken on Friday when the mom bean opened up the sunny room for us.  She says it was 9C (48F) when she first opened the door, but she put the little heater thingy on and it warmed up to 15C (59F) pretty quick.  Can you imagine, we're out in the sunny room in January?*

We all found our favorite places to hang out. 

Sash lubs the cat bed, especially when it is in a sunpuddle.

Sami lubs the recliner chair.  Mom bean thinks it is because it's her, the mom bean's that is, favorite chair too.

Maybe, Sami is just warming up the spot for the mom bean.

And me, Saku, I like to hang out in, on, or sometimes under my tent.  It's the best spot in the room to watch what's happening inside and out.

No bunny out there yet, but I be he'll come around soon.

We sure hopes the start of 2016 is going great for all our furriends.  
*The sun room is generally closed off from November through February.  With El Nino the cats may get to use it every month this year.  Is is wrong that I'm liking this global warming? - mom bean

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here!

This is picture taken in our sunny room nearly two years ago.  I sure lubbed laying in the sun with a toy and a bit of nip.

Do you 'spose this cold weather will efur end and we'll get to spend time in there again?

Yep, it's me Sasha!  Do you see where I was?  I was in the sunny room. (these were taken a couple of days ago).  Mom bean said it was warm enough with the little heater on the sun coming through the windows that we could be out there.*

I lub the sunny room and ask to go out there efurryday.  But it is too cold on this Caturday so I'll have a nap on the mom bean's bed instead.

*It warmed up to +10C (50F) in the sunroom. That is quite pleasant for this time of year.

No sun Sunday

Can you tell where I am?

If you're not sure, you'll be able to tell when you see my brofurs.

Yep, I (and them too!) was in the sunny room yesterday.

Mom bean says even though it wasn't sunny it was warm enough to let us out there for a bit.

Do you know what my brofurs are looking at?

There is no picture but they are watching my bean brofur.  He even took Sasha outside for a little bit, but not long 'cuz there is still snow out there. Brrr!!!

It's colder today so we won't get to do it again.  Oh well, time for a nap in a cozy spot.  It's good to be a cat!

Mancat Monday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.

When the mom bean came home from chasing green papers, she was happy that our bean brofur had already fed us supper.

I was out in the sunny room digesting my dinner, having a quick wash and getting ready for an evening nap (gotta get a sleep in before bedtime!) and took this picture.

Mom bean says she likes the picture even though it has funky lights in it - she's not sure where they came from.

Me - I say her flashy box lens is dirty!  MOL.

Catch-up Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

I has been helping the mom bean unpack and now I is sitting on the suitcase so she doesn't pack it again.

She says she isn't going away again for awhile but I'm not sure I believes her!

We is all furry glad to have her home, but we is also furry sad too.  Something bad happened while she was away.

Can you see what happened?

Not really?  I'll show you a close-up.

Yep, a window in the sunny room got broked.  We don't know how as there was no branch or dead burd or anything.

Mom bean says she is thankful we wasn't in the room when it broke.  But we is furry sad 'cuz she says until all of the glass is cleaned up we can't go out there.

So for now, we is stuck inside the house. :(  Oh well, it could be worse, mom bean could still be away.
