Look what mom got me!

 All that new grass is for me, and it tastes good! I has to be careful though, 'cuz this water thingy keeps spraying me sometimes. Mom bean says she has to keep watering the new sod, and I need to learn to stay out of the way. 

Whatever! As long as I get my nibble, I'm good!

Long time no see

Hi efurrybody! Sorry it has been so long since I've been around. The mom bean is the laziest bean I know...not that I know many but still.  She says it is 'cuz life with me isn't furry exciting. I sleep, I eat, I poop, I hork occasionally, and I demand foods and attention.

You know what is exciting? I get to go outside almost efurry day. Unless it's raining, then I just stand at the open sun room door and decline the offer.

Sometimes after I munch on the grass mom bean even lets me explore more of the back yard. But not too far, because she's afraid I'll get under the deck and be a pain in the *sterisk to get out. Who me?

I just have to convince her to quit mowing the grass. MOL!

Snoopervising Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today.   

The mom bean kept herself busy today.  First she mowed the lawn.

I can confirm that she did a pretty good job.  Though it could use a good raking.

While I was busy checking out her work, something caught my attenshun.

Do you know what it was?







It was these burds!  I would have liked to try to catch one (or three) but mom bean wouldn't let me climb the tree.*

I got a little excited then so mom bean said I had to go inside.


Hi efurrybody, Sami here.  I got to go outside too, after that pesky brofur!

I ventured into the shed to see how it looked.  I told the mom bean it could use a good tidy!

She did move some stuff out of it an into the yard later.




Then I checked out the downspout to see if it might leak.  Nope, looks good Mom.

(She thought I was trying to find a new way into the sunny room.  Silly bean!)

Phew, there sure are a lot of things to check out here in the backyard.  Good thing mom bean has us kitties to help.

After doing lots of yard work, mom bean went shopping.  She got some things for the yard and this new rug for the sunny room.Saku gives it 4 paws up!

*Yes, this old fir tree is dead.  Mom bean left it for the birds and bugs, but now the neighbour took down their tree it looks awful so she thinks she'll have it taken down.

Not a sunny Sunday

Hi efurrybody, it's Saku here today.

We're having a cloudy Sunday here so we're all hanging in the house. 

These are some pictures from last weekend instead.  Mom bean let us all outside* for a few minutes before she cutted the grass.

I love, love, love to roll around in the grass!

Yep, this grass sure needed cutting...my tail almost got lost in it.  

I sure hope the sun comes out today, maybe the mom bean will let me out again!

Thankful Thursday

Hi efurryone, Sasha here.

We've had some furry nice days lately with sunshine so I got to go outside for a little bit.

I got to have a bite or two of the green grass.  Mom bean says it has quit growing but I'm just making sure she won't have to mow it again, MOL.

Then I got to hang out on the deck with my bean brofur for a little while.

This leaf blew by so I had to check it out.  Luckily it got stuck in the deck boards so I didn't have to move....much.

I am furry thankful for the sunshine and warms so I can spend time in the sunny room or better yet, outside.  Mom bean says it won't last much longer so I'm going to enjoy it while I can.

Sunny Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.

We've got a sunny Caturday here so we are spending time in our sunny room.

I'm hoping the mom bean will take me outside like she did the other day.

I was in a big hurry to get down the stairs to get to some lovely green grass!





Mom bean hadn't yet mowed the grass so there were lots of  lovely long bits for me to chew.

Chomp, chomp, yum!

I got a little distracted when a bug jumped in the grass.

But I got my fill.









Before mom bean took me inside I took a few minutes to relax in the sun.  I lub the heat!

Mom bean says we need to enjoy it now, because furry soon it is going to get cold again.

I think she better get out there and harvest our nip.

*this is a volunteer plant, the plant in the container doesn't look nearly as healthy as this one.

Sunshine on my furs makes me happy

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here!

Yesterday I got to go outside in the sunshine. I enjoyed it so much the mom bean took a hunnert and elebenty pictures of me.  Don't worry, I won't post them all, MOL

I lub to lay in the grass, especially where the catnip is growing.  It smells sooooo good!

I also lub to eat some of the grass.  Good thing the mom bean is lousy at cleaning up the long stuff that she can't get to with the mower.

After a nice snack of grass, I got to hang out in the sunshine on the deck. I rolled and stretched and blissed out.

Ahh....it's good to be a cat!
