Mancat Monday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here.

The mom bean has one last day off before she has to go chasing green papers, so we're hanging out doing a lot of this while she runs around doing chores and stuff.  She really needs to learn to relax like us kitties.

We had a furry good Christmas with some extra treats and lap time with the mom bean (when she wasn't in the kitchen cooking).

We even got a present from our cuzin Stanley.  He thought, since we is getting older we might like to have our food up so we wouldn't have to bend over.  Furry thoughtful of him...wait a minute is he saying we're old?  

Well, I guess we are older than he is so I guess we'll forgive him. We gave him a present too, the tent that mom bean bought us a couple of weeks ago.  Except for the one time that Saku napped in it we've ignored it so mom bean though Stanley might enjoy it more.  Our bean sisfur says he sleeps in it a lot so we're she's glad someone got some use out of it.

We hope all our furriends had a furry good Christmas too!

Sneaky Sunday

Mom bean says I is a furry hard cat to take pictures of because efurry time I see the flashy box mom bean I stop what I is doing and come towards her.

So she has to be sneaky. Like coming around the island in the kitchen to catch me having my breakfast.

 Or sneaking up from the basement to catch me loafing on the new ottoman. 

She's right, 'cuz I got right off it to come see her.  

She says the only time she doesn't have to sneak up on me is when I'm napping with my big brofur, Sasha.  Yep, I don't even look at her then.  I lub my big brofur!

Is any of you like me, a little camera shy and wanting the bean's attenshun?  Does your bean have to sneak up on you too?

Thankful Thursday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here. 

I wants to say thank you to efurrybody for your suggestions and purrs.  Your furriendship means so much to me, my fursibs, and the mom bean too. You're truly the best!

I has two pieces of good news. The first is I'm eating fine again.  And the reason why is that the mom bean is letting me eats my fuds away from the fursibs.  So last night I ate my dinner on the chair in the sunny room.  I sure appawciate being away from those pests!  Both nights I ate all my fuds...that's two nights in a row, and when my bean brofur fed me tonight I ate efurrything even though I was in the kitchen with Sami and Saku.  

Now this is the second time I've been fussy about my stinky goodness.  The first time the mom bean figured out I wouldn't eat it unless it was cooled off in the kitchen cold box.  I wonder what I'll pull decide next?

The other good news is about Bruce Almighty.  He was the kitty who was found with his legs wrapped in electrical tape.  He had to have lots and lots of visits to the ebil v e t for operations and medicine. Well, the good news is he is finally ready to go to his furever home after a furry long recovery*.  We are sooooo happy for him, but there are lots of other kitties who still need furever homes so the Regina Humane Society is having a special adoption event this weekend.  We is sending our purrs that Bruce Almighy and lots of kitties find their furever homes in the next few days!

It's a great Thankful Thursday! We has great furriends, mom bean isn't worrying (as much) about me, a special kitty has been saved, and with our purrs I'm sure lots of kitties will find their furever home soon.

*Neither Bruce Almighty or any other kitty will be joining our home. After the recent visit with Stanley, it is pretty apparent Saku will not tolerate another cat in the house.  I'm okay with that.  - Mom bean

Fussy cat on Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.

Excuse me while I have a slurp or two of water. Ahhh...that's better.

Did you know the mom bean keeps this bowl in the un-sweet room just for me?  As far as she knows this is the only place I drink my water.

I know I don't like the fountain or the tap; running water is not for me!  I will occasionally drink from the big bowl in the un-sweet room but I really prefer this bowl.  Mom bean thinks I like my water at room temperature.

On the other hand I like my stinky goodness cold so the mom bean keeps the cans in the cold box. Sami and Saku don't care so I get what I want.  Since I am the elder cat, the world is is as it should be.

Fed-up Friday on Caturday.

Hi efurrybody,

It's suppertime so we'll let the mom bean talk for a bit.  Besides she was the one too lazy to post yesterday.

Mom here: These three are spoiled, despite the fact I didn't have time to post this yesterday evening. I went out for dinner Friday evening as I have been for several weeks.  Before I left the house I fed the cats.  Every evening they get Fancy Feast.


What I failed to do was to text my son to tell him they'd been fed.  So when he arrived home an hour later, they were given a second meal of Fancy Feast.

Spoiled yes, and fed-up too!

Sasha, Sami, & Saku:  That's enough mom, we are not spoiled, we just get what we wants. AND we lubs stinky goodness.  MOL

Mancat Monday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here!

Hang on a sec, will you?  Nom, nom, crunch, crunch, slurp.

Sorry, but this stinky goodness is sooooo yummy!

Where are Sami and Saku you ask?  Well, I'm a little older and a little slower so I take my time getting to dinner and enjoy it a little longer than those two.

Then Mom has to stay and watch us eat 'cuz the piggy brofur Saku will push me out of the way to eat my share.  What a rude kitty!


Now, if you'll excuse me I want to finish before the kid shows up.

Late Mancat Monday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

She's done it again that silly bean mom....not only is this post so late on a Monday it's Tuesday somewhere BUT she abandoned us again!

She says it is only for a few days away from work.  BUT, we're really starting to wonder 'cuz she was away just a little while ago.  The only good thing is she only tooked the small blue case so maybe she'll be back soon.  We hope. :(

The worst part is she's left the bean brofur and bean sisfur behind to keep us fed and watered. Those two can't be trusted to get up at early O'clock to feed us on time.  AND sometimes they both work late so we has to wait for our stinky goodness.

It's sure tough being a mancat in this house sometimes.  I guess I'll have to hunker down with my sisfur Sami and brofur Saku (not in the picture), try to stay warm and hopefully not starve to death before she gets back.

Can you believe this?  Mom didn't immediately fill our bowls this morning when she got up.

A mancat could starve to death at this rate. I think I see a hairball in her future, MOL!

Sasha "It's getting so cluttered I has to sit in a box.  Oh never mind, I likes sitting in boxes."

Mom didn't get home for hours and then she watcheted the tv box and didn't no nuffin but drink coffee and pets us!
