Sunny Caturday

Hi efurrybody!  We sure hope you're all having a great Caturday.  So far ours is full of sunshine and warms.  Mom bean says the rain is coming but for now we're enjoying napping in the sunny room.

We've had more visitors too!  Sometimes they pose for the flashy box, this guy wouldn't! 

We think the grackle didn't want his photo taken either.  He looks scary doesn't he?

Mr. Robin was much more accommodating.  

The trees in the neighbour's yards are starting to bloom and when the windows are open in the sunny room we can smell the flowers.

Spring is definitely here!  Have a great Caturday efurrybody!

Visitors

Hi efurrybody!  Happy Caturday to you all.

It's a bit cool here today but the sun is shining.  That means sunny room time for us kitties (and mom bean too).  

A few days ago we got a new channel on our cat television out there.  Mom bean's brofur took down an old tree and put up a burd feeder.  We've had lots of visitors in the yard since then!

Mom bean has taken lots of photos but the silly burds try to hide on the other side of the feeder so they're not good pics.

And look who showed up this morning to partake in the seed goodness!  He was a real piggy!!

What's up?

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today.

There's been some strange goings on* around here.  Check it out.

The mom bean put the carriers out the other day.  I, of course, had to check them out.  I didn't know why they were there but we found out yesterday. 

She stuffed both Sasha and I in a carrier.  Well, we each had a carrier to ourselves.  Then she took us out to the metal masheen and we went somewhere.  I'm not sure where it was, but we didn't get out of the carriers, the air was warm, and we got pawsome whiffies.  We also talked to mom, a lot, but she kept telling us we were okay and we'd be able to go home soon.  So we decided to take a nap (which made mom bean very happy).

Mom bean says we are going to do this a few more times.  I'm not sure I like that idea but as long as we don't have to go to the v e t office I think we'll be okay.

*the house is up for sale so the cats have to be taken out for open house and showings.  We sat in a nearby parking lot; I read and drank a cup of tea while Sasha and Saku talked to me or napped. 

No sun Sunday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today.

I'm enjoying some blanket time on the couch.  I do lub my blanket!

Mom bean says there will be no sunny room time because there is no sun today.  Do you think it got lost in the dark last night?

This is what it looks like outside right now.  Mom bean says the wind is blowing the snow sideways.  Brrr....I'm happy to be an indoor kitty!

Happy Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here today.  

Mom took this picture of me sleeping yesterday.  I was in the sunny room and it was sunny!  We've been able to spend time out there just about efurry day this week.  My old bones sure like it!

Spring has sprung here and the snow is all gone.  We did get some rain one day this week and our cat television had this program.

Mom bean says these burds are silly.  They were drinking out of the puddle.  There is a pond just a few blocks away!

It's kind of cloudy here today but warm.  I'm hoping the door to the sunny room will soon be open.  If it's not I'll be sure to yell.....right after my nap.

*I assume this is the same pair that has been nesting every summer in the neighbourhood.  They like to roost on top of one of the neighbour's garage.  Weird! - mom

A Sheldon update

Hi efurrybody!  It's me Sheldon!

The old mom bean came out to visit the sticky bean.  While she was there I had a nice cuddle with her.  In fact, I slept with her on the couch the whole night!

Things are really good here for me. I've gotten furry big...maybe even bigger than Saku!  I have a sunny room to hang out with my other brofur Stanley too.  We like to have morning tussles and there are a great set of stairs we can run up and down.

 This is my brofur Stanley.  He really doesn't like having his picture taken so it took the old mom bean awhile to get him looking at her.

I think he was trying to tell her he wants to go out into the sunny room.  
When he came to live with us, he was really skinny.  He had been spending most of his time outside and didn't get fed furry often.  Now he's getting round and his coat is healthy.  Stanley loved the old mom bean too, and climbed up to head butt her and get scritches.

The sticky bean is okay.  He sometimes pulls our tails but he knows he needs to be gentle.  He and Stanley play together too, the sticky pulls a toy on a string and Stanley chases it.  Me, I'm happy to watch...though as the old mom bean learned, I love to jump on whatever is moving under the blanket!

Caturday fun

Hi efurrybody, Saku here today. 

I has a new game for you to play with your beans.  Check it out!


First you need a ball of yarn and a plastic bag.  Get the beans to leave it where you can get at it.

Next, all you has to do is chase that bag around and work that ball of yarn out of it.

I'm so fast that mom bean only got blurry pictures.

 Once you get that ball out of the bag you can chase it around the living room.  Or maybe your bean will put it back in the bag so you can do it all over again.

It's a great game!  A little tiring though, so I think I'll take a nap now.
