Thankful Thursday

Mom says it is raining outside, so we is thankful we is inside where it is warm and cozy!

It's my pawty

Hi efurrybody, Saku here.

Sometime in the last week or maybe even today is my birthday.  Mom doesn't know for sure because she didn't gotcha me until July and the shelter thought I was about 7 weeks old then.  So Mom uses today as my birthday because that was the day they moved into the house (the one we lived in before this one) and she says the timing is about right.

So, by mom's mathematical calculations, I am now 13 years old in bean years.  I spent my day the way I wanted to (which Mom says is pretty much everyday) hanging out on mom's unmade bed, talking to my bean brofur, and yelling at my pesky brofur and sisfur, Saku and Sami to leave me alone, MOL!

We's not having a big pawty for my birthday, because mom suffers from something called men-a-paws memory.  I thinks that means she forgets her man-cats birthdays, because Saku turned five in March and she forgot that too.  

Oh well, I think I'll go bug her to let me go outside for awhile.  Then I'll eat enough grass to hurl it up later in her bedroom.  But not on the bed, because I wants to sleep there tonight.

We's got questions about what's on cat television at our house yesterday. Our mom is so dumb, she forgets other beans don't read her blog too...seriously mom, we're the impawtent ones  here, MOL!

This is the new programming on our television, it's gonna be good. There's lot of places for the crunchy birdies to hang out.

There is a bath tub for them and everfing!
Mom says since there is no sun, there are no birdies today.  Darn!











I just hopes the froggies don't frighten the crunchy birds away.

We've got stuff happening on cat television we's never seen before.  I hollered at sisfur Sami and brofur Sasha to come see!

Sami:  I can see just fine from over here on Mom's chair, thanks.

Sasha:  I don't need to see at all.  I'll just hang out here in the basement with the bean brofur, thanks.

Mancat Monday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here!

Can you believe this?  Mom didn't immediately fill our bowls this morning when she got up.

A mancat could starve to death at this rate. I think I see a hairball in her future, MOL!

Not so easy Sunday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

No easy on Sunday here, MOL!  We hads a very busy day.

First, Sasha and I tried furry hard to convince our bean brofur to let us come outside.  He wouldn't let us 'cuz it rained last night and the grass was wet.

But later on both he and Mom lets us come outside, but only one at a time, MOL!





This evening I wents hunting.

Mom says I stalked my prey (I don't know what that means, but I know I chased it 'cross the floor).

Mom wouldn't let me eat it, silly woman!  It was just a silly bug!

Hey Mom, you needs to vacuum the sunny room!

We were furry busy man cats today!  Our sisfur Sami....she took it easy.

Hanging out

We's had a great Caturday at our house.  Me and Sasha hung out together!

Mom lets us outside for a little while too!  But she didn't get any pictures 'cuz she says she can't keep on eye on us and take pictures at the same time.

We losted Saku for a little while.

That was okay by us, 'cuz he's a big pest!

Mom said she'd look for him anyway.

And she found him!  Here he is....silly kitty.

Finally, mom got the camera out and took some live shots of us.  OMC, that woman is lllllazzzzy!

So, I was out in the sunny room enjoying the sun.  It was so warm and shiny!

Then that Saku came along and got all in my face.  He is such a pest!



So I went over to the door and suggested politely to mom that I be allowed to go outdoors.

Wouldn't you know it, that pesky brofur showed up again and was all in my business.

I gave him a look and then....








We heard a noise coming from outside!  What was that?

OMC, it was the woofie* across the backyard.  He get yapping barking, so I decided I didn't want to go outside after all.


*Seriously mom, is that the best you picture you could get?

Not so wordless Wednesday

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Authorities say a New York police officer who tried to rescue a cat stuck in a tree got caught himself and needed a little help getting back down to the ground.
The Fire Department of New York says it happened Monday afternoon in the borough of Queens.
A call came in that a man attempting to get a cat out of a tree had gotten stuck. Fire department personnel used a bucket ladder to get the man and the cat down.
The fire department says the man is a police officer.
The New York Police Department has no comment.

Mancat Monday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here!

We spent mom's day hanging out in the sunny room.  That was great, but what was even better was mom and my bean brofur took us outside for a little while.

I got to go down onto the grass and roll around and get covered in grass and stuff....it was pawsome.

Saku came outside and he got scared by the leaves mom was sweeping up.  He even hissed at me..  What a scaredy-cat!

Sami doesn't like the grass, so she stays on the deck and talks to mom from there.

I wasn't happy when we had to go back indoors, but mom opened the window in the sunny room so I got whiffs.  Hooray!

That didn't stop me from asking to go outside again though.  How can she say no to this face?

We wants to wish our bean mom, annoying wonderful as she be, a furry happy Mother's Day.

She keeps us warm and safe, feeds us, cleans our kitty litters, and lubs us.  She plays with us, brings us catnip and toys and she even spoils us sometimes!  We lubs that furry much, MOL.

Best of all, she gave us our furever home.  We knows there are kitties out there who are still looking for theirs; we purr for them.

To all of our fureinds, we wish your bean mom's a Happy Mother's Day too!  

Serious Saturday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.

We have a question for all of our fureinds out there 'cuz we are getting so frustrated with our mom!  Have you noticed there are hardly any posts from us?  That's 'cuz we can't tippy tap without her. AND she has gotten increasing lazy.*  We just doesn't know what to do.

Not only is she not tippy tapping but she's also not taking photos of us! Like seriously, guys what's up with that?

Maybe it's time to pack up our stuff and move out?
