Spoiled rotten or just a deserving cat?

Hi effurybody Saku here today.  I was helping the mom bean last night with her crotcheting.  She says crocheting but if you heard the words she says when I try to help....sheesh you'd think I was getting in the way or something.  

Look at the face.  Does that look like the face of a kitty who gets in the way?  Never mind, don't answer that question.  MOL!  Of course I'm in the way, 'cuz I deserve my lap time.  That is, if I can't have the chair to myself.

Mystery helper Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

This morning, mom bean put this cloth on the table. When she left the kitchen it was purrfectly straight.

But some kitty decided it needed to a little more artistik!  





She came and asked me if I was the mystery helper.

Who me?  Just look at my innocent face....do you suppose I would do anything like that?






Bwahaha!!!  Maybe I did, maybe I didn't but I'm not telling!

Back at last

Hi everybody, Sami here! 

Sorry, we hasn't been around much.  The mom bean gotted home a few days ago but she's been too lazy busy to help me tippy tap.



And that after I helped her with the laundry!! I did a furry good job of it too.  Do you know what else I did?  Well me and Sasha really...we furred up the mom bean's our chair while she was away.  Mom bean says she brushed a kitten off the chair, MOL

I just wanted to let efurryone know that we are back and mom bean says she'll let us visit our furriends soon too.  She's been chasing green papers all week and is tired but the weekend is coming.

I is so glad to be a kitty...efurry day is a weekend for us!  See you all soon!

Helpful Caturday

The mom bean is zooming around the house today doing housework so I'm doing my best to be helpful.

First, I made sure that the blankie was smoothed out on the bed.

Then I made sure it felt really, really, comfy and there was some of my furs on it.

Oh, yeah that feels furry good.  

Yep, it's purrfect.  Now get out of here mom bean with the flashy box and let me have a nap!

Bruce Almighty needs our purrs!

Hi efurrybody, we wants to introduce you to Bruce Almighty.  He needs lots of purrs; some bean was furry mean to him.

This is the article from the Regina Humane Society Facebook page:

The Regina Humane Society’s Cruelty Investigations Department is seeking the public’s help with a case involving a stray cat found in the northwest area of Regina. The young cat, estimated to be between two and three years old, was found with electrical tape tightly bound around his legs and paws. The tape, which had severely restricted circulation over time, had caused massive tissue loss and infection in the extremities. The cat, who had no identification, collapsed into the arms of officers late Wednesday evening and purred as they began the delicate process of removing the bands which had destroyed his limbs.

“Bruce Almighty” named for his fierce determination and will to live, underwent hours of emergency surgery as RHS veterinarians attempted to save his legs. While the Society is hopeful that enough healthy tissue remains to keep his legs and the infection can be treated, his status remains very guarded.

“The pain and suffering he has endured is unimaginable” said senior RHS Animal Protection Officer B. Lerat. “He is fortunate that a caring member of the public alerted us to his whereabouts. The public really is our eyes and ears when it comes to reporting cases of neglect and abuse involving animals.”

It is so hard to believe that a bean could do something so horrible to a helpless kitty.  It makes our mom bean cry and we feel furry sad. This reminds us how impawtent it is to keep us kitties indoors and safe from predators.

We is purring furry hard that Bruce Almighty will not lose any of his limbs.  We wish the bean or beans who did this will be found, but we knows that will not change anything for this kitty, but may save the life of another.

Our Thankful Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.

We are furry thankful today (and yesterday too) 'cuz the mom bean finally got home.  She was away for elbenty ninety three cat naps, ad that's a furry long time!

We were all furry happy to see here, and let her know with lots of purrs and rubs, and snuggles.

She was very tired from drive so we all helped her nap for an hour.

We even helped her unpack. She really appawciated that! MOL

Sami did a personal inspection to make sure the bag was empty.










Today we is staying close to mom.  Saku
snoopervised her shower, Sami helped her get dressed, and I'm curled up in the chair making sure she gets this post just right.

We're thankful to have mom bean home with us, AND she's says she's thankful to be home too!

Catchup Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

We has been away for so long we thinks efurryone might have forgotted about us.  The mom bean is so lazy still has a hurting arm so she's not tippy tapping much at home.  She says she has to do it all day when she's chasing green papers.  Since she's not doing that today, we're back!

If mom keeps doing stuff like she's doing today it might be short lived.  I did try to help her.

   

Appawently she didn't want my work as she told me to go away.

So, since mom bean opened a window a little bit to get some fresh air, I decided I'd check out what was happening on the patio.

I thought it was so interesting I tried to open the window just a little bit more.

AND then....the mom bean told me to get away again.

I don't EVER get to do anything I want!!!!

I think I'll go take a nap.
