Mancat Monday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here.

We apologize for the delay in posting today.  Apparently Mom is very lazy busy again. :(

I have decided I will ask the bean brofur to help us tip tap our blog since we cannot rely on the mom.

I'm going to ask him, as soon as he comes back from doing whatever it is that he does out there. All I know is he smells funny and mom keeps saying its time for him to quit.

Sorta gotcha day

Hi efurrybody, Saku here!

Mom says today is my sorta gotcha day.  Huh!  I knows the old woman has a bad memory but seriously?  She cannot remember the exact moment I came into her life?  OMC!

I guess I needs to forgive her 'cuz there was lots going on then.

First, my other mother, my bean sisfur gotcha'd me sometime in May, 2008.  We lived in an tiny little old house in a small town far, far away from here.

Then my other mother decided to quit her job and come back to live with mom.

So she and I comed to live with mom for a little while. When we first comed, mom helped my bean sisfur move all of her stuff back home.  My bean sisfur didn't feels so good so mom and a friend did all the packing and moving on their own.  Mom says it wasn't much fun!

Then a little while later, my bean sisfur moved away again and left me here.  By then I was sorta used to my other brofurs and sisfurs, Sasha, Silver, Sami, Shady and Silas, and Mom thought I would be lonely without them.  I thinks my brofurs and sisfurs would have been happy for me to leave, but too bad for them MOL!

Eventually my bean sisfur and bean brofur both moved back to live with us.  So I always have a servant at my service, to feed me, pet me and tell me "No Saku!" whatever that means, MOL.

I's happy I got gotcha'd not once, but twice.  I knows I is a furry lucky kitty 'cuz I could have lived outside all my life like my litter mates.  Instead I gots a great furever home, where I am loved and cared for, and I have toys and a brofur and sister to annoy!

AND I gets to know lots of other kitties too through the interweb!  I is a furry happy cat, MOL!

Sometimes sunny Caturday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here!

We all slept in with mom this morning.  Well, we did wake her at 6 to feed us, but then we let her go back to bed, and we all joined her after breakfast.  She wasn't too upset, MOL.

The sun has been sunny sometimes today but sometimes it goes away.  Then the water starts coming down until the sun comes back again.

Mom says it's good for the flowers and plants.  We don't care about the flowers but our 'nip is sure growing, just look at this!

I bet Mom wishes her tomatoes were growing half as well, MOL.

Since the sun doesn't seem to want to stick around for furry long, we kitties are just going to have a relaxing Caturday.

'Cuz that's what kitties do, right?

Friday Funny

The mom has the day off work so she is too busy lazy to blog fur us today.  So I'll leave you with this funny and go take a nap.

Not a wordless Wednesday

The mom here today since Saku is fast asleep.  You'll have seen him with his blanket in other posts and I thought I'd share the story that goes with it.

Saku came to live with my daughter when he was very young, likely less than 6 weeks.  Within a month or so, he made the 4 hour move to live with me.  Around the same time, a family friend was expecting a baby and I had made up this blanket for her.

As you can see I never gave the blanket away as Saku latched onto it (literally and figuratively).  I suspect he was weaned too early, as he used to suck on cloth whenever he got the chance.  One of his favorite spots was to sit on my chest and suck on my t-shirt.  The blanket became his security blanket and he often carries it about, stopping to knead and hold a part of it in his mouth.  I don't know that he is still sucking on it or not.

We can always tell when Saku has his blanket as he calls out as he carries it about.  When we take it away to wash it he will look for it.  And when it comes out of the dryer he is the happiest cat in the world!

He's a special kitty, the paste eating kind of special at times (and I mean that literally too), but we love him!

Tabby Tuesday

Hi Efurrybody, Sami here!

I knows this is 'sposed to be Tuxie Tuesday but I's taking over today, MOL!

I wants to tell you abouts my mom.  She keeps trying to take pictures of me when I is sleeping.  But I is too smart quick for her!  See I has pawsome hearing so as soon as she turns on the flashy box, I wakes up.

See!

I is wide awake...

She thoughts she got me here, but NOT...my eyes are open.

Give up mom, you'll never catch me napping!

Oh no, she didn't...but she did.   Next thing you knows she's gonna catch me snoring too!

Easy on Sunday

Hi efurrybody, Sasha here!

We is having a furry good Sunday here...the sun was even shining when we woked up!  Mom let us out in the sunny room with the windows open for sniffs.

The clouds are coming in now so we're hanging with mom in the talking box room.

Sami is napping on the back of the couch.

Saku was napping on the ottoman until mom showed up with the flashy box.

And me, why I gots the best spot of all, a box in front of the cat television.

Time for a nap.....
