Hi efurrybody,
We wants to share the story of a furry lucky kitty Noelle. This sweet little girl was hurt when she crawled under the hood of a vehicle to keep warm. When the car was started her leg was caught.
Noelle was found by a good person who took her to the v e t who fixed her up.
She may have lost her front leg and paw, but she survived. We is sure someone will fall in lub with her soon. Noelle sure deserves a furever home where she'll be safe and warm. (((Purrs)))
We is thankful for the man who found her, the v e t who took care of her and the shelter volunteers who are caring for her now.
Have a great day efurrybody!

Mancat Monday
Today’s post isn’t about one of us. Instead, we want to share the story of
another special mancat who lives at the Moose Jaw Humane Society. We’re not sure why he lives with a moose, but
apparently it works for him.
This kitties name is Fat Boy though we think it ought to be
changed. First, Mom says it is rude to
call someone fat (and she should know, MOL) and second, Fat Boy isn’t really
fat anymore.
Fat Boy came to live at the shelter in 2006 because he was
overeating (like that is his fault?). He
weighed in at 24 pounds at the time.
Since no one adopted him he became the resident cat. Since he’s been under the care of the caring
people at the shelter, he has slimmed down to 17 pounds. Impressive!
The funny part of the story is when he came to the shelter,
they put him on a strict diet but after a small weight loss he put the weight
back on. That is when the workers found
out Fat Boy found a way to sneak food from other kitty cages by reaching
through the bars, tipping the food bowls to get extra kibble. What a smart kitty!
If you’d like to meet Fat Boy, he can be found on the Moose Jaw Humane Society's Facebook page here. (Picture is taken from the Facebook page)
Have a Happy Mancat Monday, efurrybody!
